When we visit our partnering sites, each child receives a small toy and other needed items such as underwear and leggings. If you would like to help provide a gift for your child, donate using our Amazon registry and it will be sent directly to our US offices and hand delivered to your child on our next visit. If you purchase multiple items, such as a pack of shorts, the additional items will be shared with our other children in need.

What does my sponsorship pay for?

Your sponsorship will help provide child's education, food, clothing, and basic health care.
Can I donate once for the year?

Yes! We can invoice you for the full amount ($420 per child) at the same time each year and you can pay with check, credit card, venmo, etc.

What should I say in my letters?

Keep it simple. Describe your family, their interests, the type of work you do. Share topics the child will understand such as music or activities you like, a favorite book, Bible verse or quote. Encourage them in their studies and remind them that they’re thought of and that there’s great things ahead for their life.
When will my sponsored child receive my letter?

We collect letters twice annually from sponsors, but letters can be sent anytime using the form above in the Sponsor Resource section of our website.
If I purchase a gift does it go to my sponsored child only or is it shared with the group?

Your gift will be hand-delivered to your sponsored child on our next visit or handed off for delivery when the Kenyan directors visit us here in America. Any extras will be shared with the children living at your sponsored child's home.
When do children complete the sponsorship program?

Our sponsorship program supports preschool aged children through high school. We've created paths for the children to learn skills or a trade to enable them to support themselves and their families after high school.

Rescued from abandoned or abusive situations, most of the children that come into our care have been living on the streets and never had the opportunity for schooling. 99% would not qualify for post-secondary schooling so our paths for learning trades has allowed them to acheive independence.
What if I need to update my credit card?

What if I have questions about my sponsored child?

We keep in close contact with our directors at the children’s homes. Contact sponsorship@greaterproject.org with any questions you have.
